Carlisle Teams Up with Local Community Youth Outreach Program

Carlisle Brake & Friction is excited to announce a new partnership with the Medina County Economic Development Corporation on a program that strives to educate and provide expertise on careers and career pathways to the local youth. The advisory committee has selected Beverly Graves, Carlisle Customer Service Representative, and Mitchell Bloom, Hawk Performance Sales Manager, as the Carlisle ambassadors for career exploration and development for local young and future generations. 

The official “vision” of the committee, says Mitchel Boehmke, Career Coach with the Medina County Economic Development Corporation: “To empower and inspire high school students and graduates to reach their full potential, fostering a vibrant, involved, and prosperous business community.”

The program aims to establish a connection between students and the business community by creating a pipeline among the local businesses and schools. Some of the activities Beverly and Mitchell will participate in as part of the program include sharing career advice, best practices, and taking part in career fairs. Additionally, Beverly and Mitchell will commit one to two days per month for events and participate in a once or twice-a-month meeting, either in person or virtually.
